Lisa Applegate
President & CEO

Lisa entered the insurance industry as a commercial sales agent of Liberty Mutual in 1984.  Since then she has consistently worked with business owners advising them on their insurance and risk management needs.  She established Applegate Insurance Services in 1991 and has been involved with Aon Affinity Services and Aon Enterprises working with the Los Angeles County Bar Association endorsed insurance program.  She was also involved in the California launch of the multi-carrier small business insurance provider, Financial Keyosk, a member of the Zurich Group of Insurance Companies.

Pat entered the insurance industry as a mentored student in the Kemper Foundation receiving a scholarship in 1968. Later he became a commercial casualty underwriter with the Kemper Group of Insurance Companies in 1970 transferring from the Chicago Home Office to Los Angeles in 1973.  His business brokerage experience stems from Johnson & Higgins, Alexander & Alexander and Aon Risk Services to mention a few of his prior insurance brokerage experiences. Since then he has consistently worked with business owners advising them on their insurance and risk management needs.  His casualty underwriting experiences with Kemper and Allianz give him a unique understanding of the professional liability subset of insurance policies, underwriting and rating approaches that benefit the clients of Applegate Insurance Services.
